OxPsych: Interactive PDFs
Capture instructions for Interactive PDFs in the Clinical Psychology Online product.
The interactive PDFs must be designed from scratch to provide sufficient space for these interactive fields, as well as providing a standardized look and feel for the PDFs, regardless of whether the source title uses the old or the new series design.
- Interactive fields within the PDFs must allow for input in 11 pnt Helvetica type.
- At the bottom of every page, the footer text must appear in 8 pnt AGaramond Pro Regular.
- Capture each interactive field as a box with the multiple-line feature. No mouse-over text.
- Fields should never 'scroll'.
- For large blocks of text such as "Notes" and all other areas of "fill in the blank" please delete the original Print file rules.
- Remove page number footers.
Specify that a form is an Interactivve PDF in the filename by including 'interactive' within the filename as so: 'med-9780195341379-interactive-pdf-001.pdf'
In addition, use alternate version taggingAlternate versions to mark the mediaGroup for Interactive PDFs as online only. Use versionType='altDigital' on the Image PDF mediaGroup. Add a versionOf attribute and set it to the value of the id attribute for the Image PDF version of this Interactive PDF.
Set the fileFormat attribute to value pdf
on the
fileRef element.
