This information replaces the general information.

Its value has the format

where nnn is the number of the article as specified by OUP.

Some other elements can also have id values. The id attribute value for elements other than e must follow the general format

Where:

is the identifier given by OUP to MPEPIL
ennn
is the value of the id attribute on the e element
elementName
is the element name containing the id
nn
is a unique and sequential value, that follows on from the preceding element with the same name
