OXIO source documents
Capture OXIO source documents in OxLawML, OxLawRepML, or OxStructML.
OUP will indicate which type of content to use for a source. OXIO source documents can be one of three content types:
- OxLawML, following the general instructions for regulations or instruments (OXIO documents are instruments unless otherwise specified)
- OxLawRepML, following the general instructions for cases and additional information on OXIO case law metadata
- OxStructML, following the general instructions for commentaries
OUP will provide the information required to populate the citeGrp bibItem class and subclass attributes. If no specific class is provided, the citeGrp bibItem should be captured as an unclassified bibItem .
Note that OUP may have inserted explanatory text into the source document to help identify headnote cross-reference targets. This will be in the form of bold, square bracketed text such as [ref 1]. Do not capture this text.
Each source document will also be published as a PDF. Capture this in a new regulation (OxLawML) or judgment (OxLawRepML) containing the fileRef to the PDF file. In OxStructML, the fileRef should be a direct child of document.
Append -source to the end of the PDF filename.
