OxMed: Quick reference material
Quick reference material is a general term for reference content located either on the inside front cover, inside back cover, or as a free insert with the printed book.
Most content on the front and back covers is quick reference material. Sometimes content on the front or back cover may flow naturally on to the endpapers – when this occurs, consider this content to be quick reference material. If you are unsure of whether content is quick reference material ask your contact at OUP.
Treat anything that is a free insert as quick reference material.
Capture quick reference material as a miscMatter in the frontMatter even where the quick reference material is on the back cover. Set attribute class="other" on the miscMatter element and set the title element content to Quick Reference Material. If the material also has a title, capture this title in the title element of the div1 division. Capture all other information according to the core TCIs.
