OCW element identifiers (id attribute)

Format for OCW id attributes.

The id attribute value must follow the general format

                law-ocw-ttnnn-element-nn

Where:

law-ocw: is a constant
tt: is one of cd, cm, or rd, according to whether the document is a constitutional document, commentary or related document, respectively.
nnn: a unique sequential number for each deliverable document
element: is the element name containing the id
xx: is a unique and sequential value, that follows on from the preceding element of the same name

The exception to the general pattern is the root element the format of which is law-ocw-ttnnn.

The id attribute on the root element is derived from the OUP ID provided in the MS Excel metadata file.
