Oxford University Press Text Capture Instructions

Works

For work references use class='work'.

A work is a looser category than the others.

Do not use the work category unless OUP provides specific instructions to use it.

This class is used typically for references to older (even classical) works of literature.

There is usually no date in the reference (because the work has been published in many different editions), and the author name may be absent, but there may be a reference to a section of the work (e.g. a scene number of a Shakespeare play, a line number of a Wordsworth poem).
