COTUS Monographs extracts and division levels
Capture extract headings outside of the extract element and treat these as div[1-7,N] headings in their own right within the div[1-7,N] that exists in the main text.
These instructions extend the general instructions.
For COTUS Monographs the following additional rules apply:
- extract headings must be captured as div[1-7,N] headings in order to frame both the extract and commentary that follows. Preserve the same div[1-7,N] division levels.
- Use dummy div[1-7,N] to bring all similar divisions within extracts to the same level in this document (see Example 2).
- Follow the general instructions on shoulder heads to capture the inline headings within extracts.
