Date fields for OCW Instruments include: Date adopted, Date Entered Into Force, Date Promulgated, Date Published, Date Ratified, Date Signed, and Date Amended. Capture all dates in ISO Format in a regDate element with the appropriate role attribute value.
Capture the Source column from the headnote spreadsheet in a paragraph in a documentSource element in the metadata.
Capture the title of the document in the metadata and not in the body of the regulation unless the title is preceded by front matter.
Capture editorial footnotes in metadata outside of the regulation. Do not capture them in the regulation.
Capture all copyright notices using the copyright symbol or appropriate character entity.
Capture the editor name from the Editor column of the headnote spreadsheet in the editorGroup group in a nameGrp group.
Capture the value of the Status column from the headnote spreadsheet as content in the metaDescribes element with attribute predicate="status" within the metaItem element. Values include historical or current.
OUP provide abstracts as MS Word documents named with the corresponding OUP ID, for example, OCW CD 1022 (ES)_abstract.doc. If supplied, capture the abstract using abstract within regMeta.
