IIC Yearbook & Journal Article element identifiers

Format for IIC Yearbook & Journal Article id attribute.

These instructions extend the general instructions.

For IIC Journal Articles, format the id attribute value as follows:

                law-iic-journalnnn-elementName-nn
            

For IIC Yearbook Articles, format the id attribute value as follows:

                law-iic-ISBN-yearbooknnn-elementName-nn
            

Where:

law-iic
is a constant
ISBN
is the 13-digit ISBN of the book
journal
is a constant
yearbook
is a yearbook-specific code provided by OUP, e.g. 'bybil', 'yiilp'
nnn
is the number assigned by OUP to the article (appearing in the file name and in the ID field of the metadata template)
elementName
is the element name containing the id
nn
is a unique and sequential value, that follows on from the preceding element with the same name

The exception to the general pattern is the root element, whose format is:

  • law-iic-ISBN-yearbooknnn (for Yearbook articles)
  • law-iic-journalnnn (for Journal articles)
