Jurisdiction Codes in OCL

Short codes which denote the jurisdiction or court that the content is associated with. Used in filenames and identifiers in OCL case reports.

This component of filenames and identifiers is only required for Case Reports (see section 5). Other document types should not include this component in their file naming schemes or Document IDs.

This component either consists of a two digit ISO 3166 country code, or one of the court codes listed below:

CJEU

Court of Justice (formerly 'ECJ' / 'European Court of Justice')

CFI

Court of First Instance

EUCom

EU Commission

For case reports, the OUP normally provide jurisdiction and court codes in a headnote.
