The party names of all case references appearing in the headnote of a case report are underlined in the text.

For references in the Previous stages or Subsequent developments fields of a case report headnote, the party names may not be explicitly given, but they are usually the same as those of the current case, so the party1 and party2 attributes should be copied from the party names in the Citations field of the headnote.
