Online-only updates
Rules for making substantive online updates to chapters or entries for books that have already been published. Substantive means the update results in a new version of the chapter being displayed online.
For Medical books, when a chapter gets updated the new version of the chapter is published with a summary of the changes and the old version remains available online. Since multiple versions of the chapter are online simultaneously each needs to have a unique DOI.
