Court of First Instance Case Reports

CFI Case reports are a subtype of case report.

They can be identified by the combination of the following two references:

  • An ECR Reference of the form ECR II-1234
  • A T number in the form T-123/YY

A legisNum attribute taken from the numbers preceding the slash in this T number, and the bibItem should be assigned the court value of “CFI”.

Sometimes there are more than one T number associated with the reference (a Joined case). In this instance, the legisNum attribute should be taken from the first T reference.

CFI case references are often included in their own table of cases.
