Numbering of sections in legal documents
OUP has a house style for numbering sections, articles, paragraphs, etc. of instruments that often differs from the style in the source document.

Capture the OUP numbering style in the altNum attribute of the enumerator element.
OUP may provide guidance on altNum values for specific documents via manifests and/or headnote spreadsheets. Where this guidance is not provided, the values listed in the table below should be used.
If the enumerator in the source document does not match any of the styles in this list, you can omit the altNum attribute, and a simple enumerator will suffice.
