Oxford University Press Text Capture Instructions

IIC lower-quality images

For Investment Claims, images are generally not available in high-quality formats, and fewer versions are required.

These instructions override core instructions on capturing high-quality images.

Provide images in two sizes and place in two separate folders. Both versions of an image should use the same file name and extension/format.

Images may need to be scanned or otherwise extracted from a PDF or Word document. The most important criterion for scanning is that the image is clear and any text legible.

Be sure to rotate images to correction orientation if necessary.

  • Full size

    Place in subfolder figures.

Provide image in its original size.

  • Thumbnail size
