Party nationality in headnotes

Parties have their nationality recorded in the Party 1 Nationality field. Capture the nationality of individual claimants (including companies or other organizations) . in the nationality attribute on the partyName element.

Where the nationality is disputed, this should be encoded as nationality="disputed".

In cases of dual nationality, capture both relevant ISO country codes in the attribute value, separated by pipes, e.g. nationality="GB|US".

If there is more than one named claimant, give each partyName element a nationality attribute.

In cases where there are several claimants of different nationalities, the Party 1 Nationality field contains "N/A" and the nationality of each claimant is recorded in parentheses after the claimant name.
