Lists of abbreviations
Capture the expansion of the abbreviations using abbrevExpansion with each having a unique id attribute value.

Capture abbreviations in list class="abbreviations" using list1 listType="headed". Inside the list1 element, capture the abbreviation in the abbrev element with the ref attribute corresponding to the id of the relevant abbrevExpansion abbreviation expansion element (for the abbreviations list this is in the same item1).
When the expansion of the abbreviation contains more than a few words (e.g. list structures) or a URL, capture only the first clause of the first sentence in abbrevExpansion and the URL within url.
When the expansion of the abbreviation contains a URL, capture only the text of the expansion in abbrevExpansion and the URL within url.
When the expansion of the abbreviation is a bibliographic reference, capture this as a bibItem instead of abbrevExpansion, and use the bibItem @id attribute as the ref attribute on the associated abbrev element.
Capture of abbreviations must conform to the following rules:
- abbrev elements must have a ref attribute pointing to an abbrevExpansion or bibItem element.
- abbrev elements that refer to a abbrevExpansion or bibItem element that is listed in a separate book must have a docRef attribute that is the book element id of the separate book.
