US legislation
OUP Law documents relating to the United States of America may contain references to US legislation, which must be distinguished from EU, UK or foreign domestic legislation.
US legislation includes references to legislative documents at both the Federal (United States) and the State (eg. California) level.
US legislation is split into five sub-types: Constitutions (Federal and State), Federal Codes, Federal Session Laws, State Codes, and State Session Laws.
A list of the 51 states and four dependencies of the USA is attached at Appendix A.
