OSEO Parallel Text

For OSEO parallel text content to work correctly, there needs to be a numbering system to lock the versions of the text together.

This locking is achieved using an altNum attribute (not normally in the captured XML, but generated in a post-processing step) in milestone elements of the type unit="line" or unit="clause-start".

Where both versions of the parallel text content have milestone elements with matching attributes, the locking process functions without problems, but there are types of parallel content that need the manual addition of a milestone element or the altNum attribute.

    For parallel text pages where there is no numbering, add milestone elements into both versions.

  2. Locking fix - Numbers on original only

    For parallel text pages where there is numbering on the original version only, add milestone elements into the second version.

  3. Locking fix - Numbers per page

    For parallel text pages where the line numbering restarts on each page, add an altNum attribute to milestone elements in the second version.
