Headnote case dates

headNote/caseDate

Capture all dates in the ISO 8601 format (YYYY-MM-DD).

Assign a role attribute to all caseDate elements as follows:

Signed Date

caseDate[@role='signedDate']

The date of the last signature on the award or decision.

The element should have a role attribute with value "signedDate".

Date of despatch to parties

caseDate[@role='despatchDate']

This element is only required for IC law reports.

The date the decision was sent to the parties involved.

The element should have a role attribute with value "despatchDate".

If the date is incomplete and consists of just a year, or just a year and month, capture it in the ISO format YYYY or YYYY-MM as appropriate.
