Link type for case report references

In the headnote section of a case report, give references a linkType attribute value. Where the headnote does not specify a link type, and the reference is not a repeated reference, use the default value.

Only allowed to refer to a case, that is, it can only appear when bibItem class="case-ref".

Subsequent developments subsequent procedural stage Only allowed to refer to a case, that is, it can only appear when bibItem class="case-ref".
Related developments related case (if class="caseRef") Use related instrument for other values of class.
Governing law governing law All references in the Governing Law field must have attribute linkType="governing law".

Correct any variation from this rule in the headnote template.

Further analysis mentioned only in headnote Only in fields Facts, Analysis, and Further Analysis.
Citations no link type Do not capture a linkType attribute on the bibItem within the citeGrp element of a case report. This is the only place where a link type can be absent.
