Use this typecode to identify alternate text for Audio, Boxes, Figures, Tables, Supplementary Material, or Videos.
Identify bibliographic references within a bibliography with this typecode.
Use this typecode when an extra space or ornament (such as a fleuron, set of asterisks, etc) appears between two paragraphs.
Use this typecode to identify caption text for Audio, Boxes, Figures, Tables, Supplementary Material, or Videos.
Capture front matter within tables of contents with this typecode.
Capture feature titles in chapter or book tables of contents with this typecode.
Capture feature types in chapter or book tables of contents with this typecode.
Capture structured heading levels in chapter or book tables of contents with this typecode.
Capture chapter titles within tables of contents with this typecode.
Capture part titles within tables of contents with this typecode.
Capture back matter within tables of contents with this typecode.

Capture the name of a Contributor (author, editor, translator, etc.) using this typecode. This is used for contributors at a chunk level (chapter, article, or section).
Contributor Affiliation is used to capture additional information about where the Contributor works or who they represent.
Identifies the spoken text portion of a piece of dialogue.
Capture the edition information in the front matter with this typecode.
Identifies the definition of a glossary term, either outside the run of the text or in a glossary section.
Identifies structured heading levels.
Defines placement of floating items or details items which need special alignment.
This typecode specifically identifies metadata keywords about the book, chapter, or article. It should not be used for key terms in the run of the text.
Use the List Item typecode to identify each individual item inside a list.
All footnotes (or, where relevant, end notes) for a chapter, table, or box should be captured with this typecode.
Identifies a paragraph that starts full left.
Use this typecode for content that requires reader input, usually followed by lines or blank spaces.
The Subtitle-Head code is used to capture subtitle information wherever it is present.
The source typecode is used to capture source, copyright, or attribution information for a figure, table, video, quoted text, etc.
The Table Heading 1 typecode should be used for any column headers within the table. If the column headings change mid-way through the table, use the Table Heading 2 typecode to denote the second set of headings. Additional table headings may be added by incrementing the number by 1. A table heading is distinct from the enumeration or caption of the whole table.
Use this typecode to identify unusual headings such as headings that span multiple columns, or headings that are oriented in a different way to the main table headings.
